SHERRY GAERTNER-TIBBETS

Sherry has proudly called the Valley of the Sun home since relocating from Chicago in 1981. She began her real estate career in 1984 selling new homes for Richmond American, quickly building a reputation for professionalism, market knowledge, and client care. In 1989, she earned her Broker’s license and went on to open the Valley’s first Buyers Agency—representing buyers exclusively for five years and setting a new standard for advocacy and service.

In November 1993, Sherry moved her business to the North Scottsdale area, where she recognized a growing need for a truly full-service real estate company. With that vision in mind, she founded Sherry Gaertner & Company, built on the belief that clients deserve expert guidance, clear communication, and a seamless experience from start to finish.

Sue Lano provides premier real estate and North Scottsdale area knowledge, and is an expert at providing the highest level of customer service. As a goal-oriented self-starter, she is passionate about helping guide her clients through the real estate transaction process. A career salesperson, Sue has provided top-tier customer experiences for over 30 years. During which, she was in the top 1% in the nation for one of the largest automotive companies. Over the past 40 years, she has lived in Arizona on and off, and is proud to call North Scottsdale her home. While driven and results oriented, Sue never loses sight of the customer experience and takes extra care with guiding her clients each step of the way. In her free time, you can find Sue hiking on one of the many Scottsdale trails, hitting the greens at her favorite golf courses, or traveling to new places.

Sherry has been a resident of the Valley of The Sun since arriving from Chicago in 1981. She started her Real Estate career selling New Homes for Richmond American in 1984. In 1989 she obtained her Broker's license and opened up the Valley's first Buyers Agency representing buyers exclusively for 5 years. In November of 1993 Sherry moved her business to the North Scottsdale area and saw the need for a full service Real Estate Company.
Sherry began selling homes in Terravita along with Del Webb from Day 1 when they opened a trailer for sales. She fondly remembers : "At that time we drove clients around in 4 wheel drive vehicles, as there were no roads or utilities pulled in to the lots. We searched for home sites in raw dirt imagining what the views would be and how the house would fit as in many cases there were no lot stakes."
"On many occasions I had college kids camping out for up to a week for clients to pick their new lot when a section would open for sales. "I believe that speaks volumes on how happy residents are living in Terravita", she says. Another large percentage is referrals from happy homeowners that want their friends to share the experience. "I appreciate the referrals that you pass on to me. I LOVE Terravita so therefore it makes my job exciting to be a part of bringing in new clients. Terravita is my passion. I want it to be yours too."
